Both CPR & First Aid, All Saturdays!
In a childcare position, there will always be times when you need to care for someone who gets hurt. The First Aid class will explain how to clean and cover various types of wounds and prepare the victims for recovery.
You will learn how to respond to poison exposure. For example, you'll learn what to give a child who grabs hold of something harmful and whether you should induce vomiting or not. You will also know when the right time to take someone to the hospital might be.
Timing is essential when emergencies strike. You might be the one who has to contact the emergency response team when someone gets hurt, or accident occurs. You may learn the appropriate actions and the right order of those actions through the course.
Knowledge of CPR is often mandatory in Childcare jobs, even in lower-level positions. Therefore, we offer CPR classes as part of the overall collection of job-related courses. In the CPR class, you will know what to do to help someone who has stopped breathing amid an emergency. The course will go over the several-step process and how to keep the person's processes going as you wait for EMTs and other medical professionals to arrive at the scene.
Pediatric CPR is most likely a mandatory course for a Childcare job, and it describes how to tend to an infant or child that has encountered a cardiac crisis. The processes are different from adult CPR; thus, you may need to take this class to proceed with your employment.
The Childcare training classes are affordable and have regularly scheduled sessions. You may contact us with any suggestions, questions, or concerns about the courses, and we will answer your questions promptly. Pre-payment and registration are required before you can proceed to start your classes.
